Do you have airbrush makeup?Yes! Airbrush foundation is our preferred method to apply foundation to give you that flawless, airbrushed look. VIXEN Beauty Owner and Professional Makeup Artist, Katie Chirempes, is certified in Temptu branded airbrushing. From Temptu's website: Foundation formulas are oil-, phthalate-, sulfate-, petroleum-, paraben-, and gluten-free; vegan; non-comedogenic; and hypoallergenic. Not tested on animals.

Can you airbrush out tan lines?If you or your bridal party members are concerned about tan lines, airbrush tanning is recommended before the day of service. Blurring tan lines (such as from clothing, swimwear, smart watches, and the like) is not included in makeup service, but can be done upon request for an additional fee starting at $20.

How much time do you need to complete services?We reserve: Bride 1 hour per service Adult attendees 45 minutes to 1 hour per service Flower girl makeup 15 minutes; hair 30-45 minutes, depending on length and thickness

How should I prep for my wedding day?To look and feel your best on your wedding day: Come with a makeup-free face and clean, dry hair that has not been flat ironed since your last wash. Exfoliate several days in advance. Hydrate. Hydrate. Hydrate... by drinking plenty of water and moisturizing your skin and lips. Don't forget to make your appointments if you plan to have additional services before your wedding day: Brows Lash extension full set or fill Luxury Spray Tan Nails

How can I secure my wedding date?Click on "Book Your Date," enter your details into the Service Form, and sign the contract. Once we are notified that this step is complete, we will email you an invoice and request a retainer which is 30% of total day of services. Your date is secure when we receive your retainer.

Do you have a booking minimum?To travel to your venue, we require a minimum of four adult services per artist/stylist. Any party of three adult services or less can be accommodated at the salon.

What is the password for the "Book Your Date" page?Please first reach out via your preferred method: phone call, text, email, or by filling out our "Contacts Form" on the homepage to begin discussing the details of your wedding and confirm makeup artist/hair stylist availability. You will receive the password during this conversation. Already had our our chat and forgot the password? No worries, just reach out again and we'll send it right over!

Can you put a hold on my date?Dates are first come, first serve and secured once we receive a signed contract and retainer of 30% of total day of services.

What forms of payment do you accept?We accept cash, credit card, and Zelle payments. Payment by credit card is subject to a processing fee.

Do you have a travel fee?The first 60-miles roundtrip from 60081 is included in our service pricing. Mileage over 60-miles roundtrip is charged at $1 per mile per artist/stylist.

Can each person receiving services pay you separately/directly on my wedding day?We accept payment from the person who signs the contract only, as the contract is between us and them. The retainer is due upon booking your date and your remaining balance is due two weeks before your date of service.

Do you include gratuity on my invoice?While we always appreciate gratuity, it is never added to your invoice. Cash can be given to stylists/artist on the day of your event if you wish to tip.

Do you sell gift cards?We do! Please contact us to receive your virtual gift card!

Where do I go for my bridal preview?Bridal previews are held in studio; please reach out for the address.

Is there anything I should know before coming to my bridal preview?Come with clean, dry hair and a makeup-free face. Have any inspirational photos handy. Don't forget to bring your hair accessory if you plan to wear one on your wedding day. Pro Tip: If your dress is unavailable to try on the day of your bridal preview, wear white (or the color of your dress) to get a better idea of how your hair and makeup will look while you are wearing your wedding day color.

Can I book my bridal preview for a weekend?Bridal previews are held during the week as we reserve weekends for weddings.

What is the difference between a standard tan and a rapid tan?The standard tan has an 8-12 hour wait time before your first rinse. The rapid tan has a rapid rinse time (within 1-5 hours of your tan), not a rapid tan. The rapid tan will continue to develop over the following 24 hours. The rapid option is best for those who don't have time to wait for the standard tan's 8-12 hour development time before the first rinse.

Do you have a solution for sensitive skin?Yes! Our clear, rapid solution is recommended for those with sensitive skin as it has no cosmetic bronzer in its solution. We are more than happy to perform a patch test before a full body spray.

How long will my tan last?Tans can last up to 10 days with proper pre-tan preparation and post-tan care.
